A little about Me
My involvement in extra-curricular teams and being a part of team oriented companies, has shaped me to become a determined goal-oriented team player. I have become a social butterfly who can assimilate to any environment. I quickly analyze and handle situations accordingly and appropiately. I'm a friendly intellectual who is honest, determined, and can work well on a team or alone. I face my problems with perception and try to handle them in the most logical manner.
If you're more interested in seeing what I've been up to the past 3 years, feel free to view my projects .
I first started coding when I was 16. It was the first course that I actually enjoyed learning and getting ahead in. I've always played around with computers but never coded until that HTML course. My very first project was me creating a website which served as a Playstation Portable (PSP) tutorial. I created simple webpages explaining how to properly transfer files, how to store movies on it, etc. The following year I created a "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" game in Visual Basic which really showed me the work to satisfaction ratio of programming.
I learned that I loved writing code because of how challenging and rewarding it can be. After graduating high school I took some time off to work so I could pursue a future in software development. While I was working at McDonalds and General Motors, I studied up on C++ as much as I could. From the courses I have taken I have demonstrated that I can code complicated and secure applications that meet requirements in a timely manner. It's also because of these courses that I can say I have a solid debugging background. Classmates often brought their problems to me, and I was always the center of study groups. I have familiarity in program optimization, data structures and algorithms. Many of my projects include working databases that can store and manipulate data.
My current goal is to find a position in a company where I can feel that challenge again. I want to continue improving my skills but want to be in a professional environment. My references will agree that I am an asset to any team. If you can help me achieve this goal dont hesitate to contact me!
